The Heroes | The Furies | The Incarna and Paladins |
Supporting Cast | Minor Characters | Deceased Characters |
Friv
Yeti
Half-Yeti Hermit
Vital Stats: Age 24,
Height 6'1", White Hair, Black eyes, Average Build (which is to say, quite
muscular for a human, a little thin for a yeti). Prefers dark clothing.
Background: Friv spent much of his life as an outcast. Born to a yeti father
and a human mother, he grew up knowing that his parents were different, but never
really understanding why. His family lived mostly in seclusion - the humans
feared Friv's father, and the yeti distrusted his mother. His father left him
when he was young, and his mother left to find his father when he turned eighteen.
Friv moved to the edges of Artania, and built himself a home in one of the mountain
caves in the Altair region, on the mountain that guarded the mysterious Water
Orb. He was "dragged into this crazy quest" by his friend Kasaii. Learning
from the Oracle where his parents now live, he has recently met his mother and
father, and has turned down an offer to become Paladin of Earth. Along the way,
he has fallen in love with Shari.
Personality: Friv is a well-grounded
person, if a bit cynical. He is very practical, and is often the one who points
out the flaws in Kasaii's rather optimistic plans. Friv is a bit of a dreamer,
but tends not to act on his dreams - without Kasaii to draw him out, he would
probably have spent his entire life in his cave. Friv has a deep-seated dislike
of the Incarna, partially due to his family's past, and partially because he doesn't
feel that worship solves anything.
Kasaii
Weaver
Spirit Magus and Adventurer
Vital Stats:
Age 25, Height 5'4", Blonde Hair, Hazel eyes, fairly thin. Wears blues
and greens, and a blue cape.
Background: Kasaii was born Maxwell
Cutley, to one of the more respected noble families in Artannia. His father, the
Paladin of Staves, head of one of the four Artannic orders, drilled a sense of
duty into both of his sons. When Kasaii was in his teens, however, he discovered
that he was a magus - a great sin in Artannic culture. After he decided to learn
to harness his power, many of his former friends eschewed him, and he was forced
to abadon his former name. Undeterred, Kasaii set out across the world, led by
his curiousity and desire to make a difference. One of his early adventures led
him in search of the Water Orb, and very nearly ended his life when he got caught
in a snowstorm. Friv saved him, and the two have been fast friends ever since.
Kasaii has learned from the Oracle to learn how to get at the Water Orb, so
that he can use it to save the kingdom of Dornkirk from a terrible drought.
Personality: Kasaii is the Yang to Friv's Yin. He is outgoing, friendly, almost
naively optimistic, loves being around people, and has a burning desire to leave
the world a better place than it was before he came around. Kasaii is privately
hurt by the rejection he sometimes gets simply for being a magus, but he wouldn't
give up his powers for acceptance. Kasaii nevers uses his powers to alter people's
emotions (although he may have the strength to, a little), but often uses them
to sense emotions. He is far more powerful with the emotional aspects of his spirit
magic, rivalling even the Furies for power and skill.
Dana
(aka Ellen Naven, aka Elaida Nazeran)
Ex-Fury of Wrath
Vital
Stats: Age unknown (looks mid-twenties), Height 5'11", Reddish-brown
Hair, Blue eyes, average build. Wears armour with a blue tint, and a pale blue
cloak.
Background: Dana started her life as Ellen Naven, a woman living
in Cianna. Somehow, she met and fell in love with Lucas (actually Garanor Lydal).
When she was nearly killed by the rampaging Rianna, former Fury of Wrath fallen
to the Furies' Curse, she was instead transformed into Elaida Nazeran, Fury of
Wrath. After a few years, an as-yet unexplained occurance left her unconsious
and amnesiac on the Water Orb mountain. After regaining her memories - all of
them - she travelled with Kasaii to find the Void Orb, hoping to protect him from
the Furies' wrath. Now that she has destroyed the Phoenix Engine and shattered
the Furies, however, what will she do?
Personality: Dana is a very
meek and quiet person, trying to keep a lid on the anger than earned her a position
as a Fury. Very rarely, Dana gets angry, and when she does she loses most of her
meekness, becoming extremely upset and forward. When she gets REALLY angry, she
unleashes her powers as the former Fury of Wrath, Elaida, capable of shattering
swords with a single strike. She nearly killed Asural with a single blow. Dana
is a very compassionate person, but because of her shyness, she tends to stick
to the background. The memories of those she killed as the Fury of Wrath weigh
heavily on her soul, as do her unresolved feelings for Garanor.
Shari
Kalahann
The Chronicler, Paladin of Spirit
Vital Stats: Age 25, Height 5'8", Brownish-black Hair,
Green eyes, average build. Wears green tunic and shorts, with matching boots.
Background: Born in the tribal lands to the south, Shari spent her early
life in a marriage that she didn't want, conducting an illict affair with Warren
Hejan. Forced to flee when her tribe was destroyed by another tribe, she trained
under Heyal Hejan to become a Paladin, but became trapped as a barmaid when she
ran out of money and no one would hire her. Finally quitting in disgust, she joined
the group. The Oracle passed on his burden to her, and she is the Paladin
of Spirit.
Personality: Shari is friendly and open, rarely
hestitating to speak her mind or do what she thinks of. She is extremely scornful
of intolerance, and although her impetuousness often lands her in trouble, she
is a loyal friend,a quick wit and a strong will. Shari is opposed to any attempt
to force people to do things they don't want to, which has brought her into a
small amount of conflict both with Kasaii and with the Incarna of Sprit. She loves
Friv, but her calling is causing a great deal of friction between them.
Lucas Patrickson
Extremely Active Figment
Vital
Stats: Age unknown, Height 5'10", Brown Hair, Hazel eyes, average build.
Wears red coat with gold trim, and blue pants. Illusionary?
Background:
A warrior from Aragass, a small kingdom west of Artania, Lucas hasn't talked
much about himself - in fact, he tends to deflect questions about himself away
with ease. He is a trained adventurer who travelled north from Dornkirk with Dana,
and he wants to find the Water Orb to end the drought in Dornkirk. Oh, and the
reward doesn't hurt, either. At least, that's what he claimed. In reality, Lucas
was once a figment created by Garanor to stay near Dana. Since then, he has apparantly
gained autonomy, and has appeared to both Garanor and Dana. Lucas is also capable
of appearing to Delemonte, and has been so for some time.
Personality:
Lucas is something of a jack-of-all-trades. He tries to work in every field
at once, and never really seems to focus on any one thing. Lucas is a bit brash,
and tends to jump to conclusions, but is also a loyal friend. He is a bit mercenary,
but seems to have a good heart despite his desire for riches.
Due to being
a shadow of Garanor, he no longer travels with the group.
The Furies of Murosh were an elite force created by the
Murosh Emperor, using powerful magics and trickery to weaken nations that are
either threats or potential targets. The Furies change frequently, as they are
often killed in their duties - the average lifespan for a Fury is six to eight
years. Each of the seven Furies takes their powers from one of the seven great
sins, and they use these powers against others. However, they also start to embody
these principles, which makes them extremely dangerous. Over time, the Furies
slowly go insane, consumed by the forces they wield. The Furies drew their power
from the Phoenix Engine and the Void Orb - with the destruction of both, they
no longer have a means to replenish their ranks, and their direct conduit to power
has been damaged.
Asural
Minth
Fury of Arrogance
Vital Stats: Age unknown
(looks late-twenties), Height 5'11", Black hair, red eyes, strong build.
Wears blue and gray armour with a blue cape, the uniform of the Fury of Arrogance.
Background: Unknown. Asural is the fifth-oldest Fury, having held his position
for just over two years. Asural was the first fury sent to destroy Dana, and he
demonstrated his incredible powers as he attempted to kill her. He was nearly
killed, but was saved by Tikara at the last minute. After that, he captured the
Earth Orb from the yeti who guarded it, only to be betrayed by Jeremar. Now, he
is one of the Emperor's only remaining Furies.
Personality: Asural
is arrogant, not particularly cautious, and utterly devoted to his cause. He will
never falter until the missions of Murosh have been carried out, and he is unfailingly
loyal. In addition to powerful blasts of energy, Asural can turn a person's doubts
against them, paralysing them with self-loathing. Asural has a dry and cutting
wit, which he doesn't hesitate to use. However, he seems to be in love with Tikara
Randelle, no mean feat given that her position requires her to play on the lusts
of other men. Perhaps only a man utterly convinced of his own superiority could
avoid being jealous of the men who she entices...
Tikara
Randelle
Fury of Lust
Vital Stats: Age
unknown (looks young twenties), Height 5'9", Reddish-pink hair, red eyes,
thin build. Wears a blue tube top, and a blue, gray and black skirt, the uniform
of the Fury of Lust.
Background: Unknown. The second-youngest Fury,
with less than two years under her belt, Tikara has been masquerading as Alanna
Timmon, a travelling merchant. As Alanna, she is a friend of Kasaii, who recently
admitted to having been aware of her true nature. Tikara also came after
Asural, rescuing him when he was about to die. She is one of the Emperor's few
remaining Furies.
Personality: Tikara is a friendly and flirting person,
who seems to actually care about whether Kasaii gets hurt or not (although she
is not similarly concerned about Dana). She is a loyal Fury, however, and will
do what is needed to advance their cause. Tikara is the love of Asural Minth,
and she, perhaps alone among the Furies, cares about his well-being. Tikara possesses
both the ability to incite the lust of others, and the ability to take the wounds
of others into herself, an ability she used to save Asural's life.
Jeremar
Lann
Fury of Envy
Vital Stats: Age unknown
(looks late twenties), Height 6'0", Black hair, red eyes, average build.
Wears blue, black and grey armour, the uniform of the Fury of Envy.
Background:
The youngest Fury, Jeremar was once Jeremy Langley, having been transformed
less than a month ago. He worked primarily for Salamon, joining his plot
to become a god, but lost his nerve when fighting Dana. After laying low for some
time, the Emperor has once again recruited him for the final operation against
the Incarna.
Personality: Jeremar is a bit of a brat, generally confidant
that he's the equal of all the other Furies. His primary problem is his lack of
backbone, however, which makes it difficult for him to resist either the urgings
of his fellow Furies, or his own fears and doubts.
Emperor
Delemonte XIV
Emperor of Murosh
Vital Stats: Age
unknown (middle-aged looks), Height 6', Hair brown and grey, eyes red, average
build. Wears a blue cloak, over gray clothing, the uniform of the Emperor.
Background: The descendant of the first Emperor, Delemonte rules Murosh with
a silk-covered iron fist. However, he is rarely seen in public, leaving the general
running of his empire to his council and chancellor. He is also the nominal leader
of the Furies, although he rarely directly interferes in their affairs. Delemonte
is always present when a new Fury is chosen.
Personality: Delemonte
is commanding, but actually does care about the safety of his people and his Furies.
He is a man of his word, although he prefers to keep his true nature shrouded
in shadow. He is currently running a deep and mysterious plot, which seems to
involve the Orbs and the Incarna.
The Incarna are a mythical group, and opinions on just who or what they are varies wildly. What is agreed upon is that there were either four or six Incarna, embodying the elements of magic, and that they were alive at the time of the fall of Karlhanan, the ancient magus empire. According to the devotees of Alaris, the Incarna control magic, and used it to destroy paradise. The Cyclists of the south, by constrast, believe that the Incarna are holy beings, and it was their defeats that destroyed the empire. Regardless, most people don't believe that the Incarna exist. Recent evidence suggests that they are wrong.
Zaria,
Incarna of Void
The most active of the Incarna, Zaria was contained in
the Void Orb, and her imprisonment was the reason for the powers wielded by the
Furies. Zaria is one of the nominal leaders of the Incarna, especially in the
modern age. Her paladin is Warren Hejan, who she is rather protective of. Once,
she was Kerria's love.
Dernia,
Incarna of Spirit
The Incarna of Thought was travelling with Shari within
the Spirit Orb, after hiding with the Oracle for almost 2000 years. Why she had
not had Shari free her, or the Oracle before that, is unknown. Whatever her reasons,
she has absolutely no compunctions using her powers to alter the memories of anyone
who learns anything she doesn't like. She has made Shari her Paladin, and is manipulating
the other Incarna in order to try and restore the primacy of the Incarna.
Kerria,
Incarna of Waves
Oddly enough for the Incarna that represents power, Kerria
seems to be an extremely kindhearted Incarna. She seems to have saved Dana's life
back when she was Elaida, despite her dislike of the Furies, and is currently
acting as a friend of Dana. Although she was responsible for the formationg of
the Incarna originally, she is now opposed to them, and seeks to stop them from
attempting to conquer the world again.
Sarnas,
Incarna of Wind
Sarnas is a fairly easy-going Incarna, content to let the
others take the lead and follow them. Because of that, he's seen as slightly irresponsible
by the other Incarna, but is still relied on to keep communications open.
Taukas,
Incarna of Stone
Taukas is proud and stubborn, as befits the Incarna of
Stone. He is still annoyed from Friv refusing to become his Paladin, and is capable
of holding a grudge for weeks on end.
Senek,
Incarna of Flame
Although he is fairly small, Senek is a cunning and honourable
Incarna, unshakeable in his belief that the Incarna are the rightful rulers of
the world. He is easily upset, but doesn't stay so for long.
The Paladins
are the champions of the Incarna, each symbolizing one Incarna's force within
the world. Over time, the number of Paladins waned, as each Incarna lost their
grip over the world. For a time, Shari was the last of the paladins, but now they
are once again being chosen. They are:
The Herald, Paladin of Wind, Emissary
of Change (Boj)
The Champion, Paladin of Waves, Emissary of Power (none)
The
Disciple, Paladin of Flame, Emissary of Belief (Adam)
The Judge, Paladin of
Earth, Emissary of Justice (Tarn)
The Chronicler, Paladin of Spirit, Emissary
of Memory (Shari)
The Redeemer, Paladin of Void, Emissary of Rebirth (Warren)
Warren
Hejan
The Redeemer, Paladin of Void
Vital
Stats: Age twenty-five, Height 5'10", Green hair, blue eyes, average
build. Wears a dark red jacket, blue-dyed pants, and short boots.
Background:
His father was a Paladin, and Warren seems destined to follow in his footsteps.
His early life was one of always travelling, and he was left by his dryad mother
at a young age. Warren met Shari a few years back and fell in love with her, only
to lose her just after his father died, when he attempted to infiltrate the Furies.
Becoming Verinth for a short time, he died at the hands of Garanor Lydal, only
to be returned to life, memories intact, as Warren once again. Now, as the Paladin
of Void, Warren is the foremost of the Paladins for the plans of the Incarna.
Personality: Warren is a kind soul, but can tend towards sarcasm. He is a
firm believer in Zaria, and feels that he owes her personally for saving his life.
Generally, Warren cares more for people than for ideals, and structures his decisions
based on that.
Boj
Hervalldinsan
The Herald, Paladin of Wind
Vital
Stats: Age twenty-eight, Height 6'7", grey hair, purple eyes, average
build. Wears a brown shirt with a green tunic, and loose leather breeches.
Background:
Living in Murosh was not condusive to maintaining belief in the Incarna, but
Boj managed it. Extremely stable for a djinn, Boj learned a number of tricks in
order to fit in better with humanity, rightly feeling that as one of the few djinn
in the area that believed in the Incarna, he should try not to blurt it out to
random passers-by. When the Incarna of Wind chose him to be his champion,
Boj was overjoyed. His current mission is to oversee the selection of the new
Paladins.
Personality: Boj is extremely friendly, but has a habit
of running at the mouth - something that he does so that he won't lose his train
of thought. Because of this, his words often run together, and people mistakenly
think he may not be too bright. In fact, Boj is very intelligent, and loses focus
rarely for a djinn (which means that a human would politely call him absent-minded).
Tarn
Kejakson
The Judge, Paladin of Earth
Vital
Stats: Age fifty-five, Height 9'3", white hair, black eyes, muscular
build. Wears a one-piece suit made of tanned hide.
Background: Friv's
father, Tarn spent the early years of his life among the yeti, before running
away. Meeting Lilah (see below), he fell in love and married, but he was unable
to escape thoughts of the duty that he had given up. Eventually, he fled back
to his home, and began trying to repent for his perceived sin. Tarn became the
Paladin of Earth after Friv turned the position down.
Personality: Tarn
is a kind soul, but his foremost thoughts are for duty, as a yeti's thoughts should
be. Conservative even for a yeti, Tarn eternally regrets the pain that he caused
to his family, but feels that the mistake was entering the human lands in the
first place - once he had done so, the end was a foregone conclusion.
Adam
Al'Veer
The Disciple, Paladin of Fire
Vital
Stats: Age 29, Height 5'9", pale blond hair, blue eyes, muscular build.
Wears tanned leather armour, and large tan boots.
Background: Adam is
the youngest Knight-Captain of Dornkirk, and a firm believer in Cyclism. He sits
on the council of the King of Dornkirk, due to his tactical genius, and is generally
considered to be a shoe-in for the eventual role of Knight-Commander. Adam was
only recently chosen by Senek, and it remains to be seen whether his military
skill will translate equally well into the religious field. So far, though, he's
doing well.
Personality: Fairly easy-going, but prone to concealing
his insecurities behind a mask of seeming competance. Adam would never ask for
help if he could avoid it, and he tries to avoid thinking too deeply about many
situations; he prefers to accept things at face value.
Darren
Cutley
Artannic Knight, Order of Staves
Vital
Stats: Age 30, Height 6'4", Blonde hair, blue eyes, muscled build. Wears
the silver armour of an Artannic Knight.
Background: Darren was
born to a respected noble family in Artannia, one that had held the position of
Paladin of Staves, the head of the wandering order of Artannic knights, for over
200 years. As the eldest son of the line, he was raised to become the Paladin
of Staves when his father retired. The family fortune nearly died, however, when
it turned out that their second son was a magus. Darren felt that the family should
have stood by Kasaii, magus or not, and has never been quite so firm in his religious
beliefs since. However, he is a good leader, with a fine moral sense, so no one
has noticed yet. Darren leads one of the many Artannic patrols in and around the
Muroshi border.
Personality: Darren is a lot like a larger, stronger
version of Kasaii. Although he is not very manipulative, he is perceptive, and
can generally tell when people are lying to him. Darren believes more in personal
morality than in the doctrines of the Alaric church, which may pose problems in
the future. He also is a touch naive (some would say optimistic), and prefers
to hope for the best.
Lilah
Harjan
Friv's Mother
Vital Stats:
Age 45, Height 5'7", Red hair, blue eyes, average build. Wears
simple dresses.
Background: After leaving Friv to find her first husband,
Lilah settled in Remenn when she finally came to grips with the fact that he really
didn't want her in his life anymore. Some time later, she met and married Heyal
Hejan. She was very unhappy when he died.
Personality: Although she
is generally soft-spoken, Lilah has a steel will underneath. The hardest decision
she ever made was searching for Friv's father, and she is extremely happy that
she knows where he lives again.
Heyal
Harjan
Former Paladin of Flames
Vital
Stats: Age 44, Height 5'9", Dirty blond hair, aqua eyes, average
build. Wears leather, well-made travelling clothes. Deceased.
Background:
Heyal, the Paladin of Flames, made the mistake of falling in love with a dryad,
who left him and his son behind. Travelling with Warren, Heyal crossed the southlands,
looking for people who could be trained to become paladins. One of these was Shari
Kalahann, who named her son after Heyal. When Warren became a Fury, Heyal was
crushed. He moved to Remenn, possibly to protect the Earth Orb, where he met and
fell in love with Lilah, eventually marrying her. He was killed not long afterwards.
Personality: Although he tended towards pomposity, Heyal was a kind and generous
soul. He was a fanatic, however, willing to give anything to ensure the return
of the Incarna.
Jack
and Maria
Villagers
Info: These villagers, back
in Scene 2, were having a little lovers' spat. Lucas seems to have fixed it, though,
since they were back together when our heroes headed out. Also, Jack was the villager
that told Kasaii about the 'monster', and the Fury.
Jack
Arbour
B***ard Innkeeper
Info: Jack is the
current owner of the Green Leaf inn, having inherited it from Thomas Denn. He
may not be for long, however, given that he's out of employees. He's a bigot,
a jerk, and not the brightest bulb in the room, and just to top it off he's a
skinflint. He and Shari parted on very bad terms.
Darren's
Patrol
Artannic Knights, Order of Staves
Info: There
are five knights currently serving under Darren. (Described left-right, top-bottom)
Conal O'Donoghue is large but friendly. Dennis Moore is easygoing. Patrick Maewyn
thinks he is God's gift to women. Sarah Connely and Charles Foster are engaged,
and neither one trusts Kasaii, Shari, Friv or Dana.
Cara
Naven
Snooty Aunt
Info: Cara is Dana's aunt,
and is apparantly very much in favour of people doing what has always been done,
and 'will always' be done. Very traditional-minded, she does not approve of Dana.
Rosa
Naven
Friendly Cousin
Info: Rosa
is Cara's daughter, and Dana's cousin. Although she doesn't know about recent
events, she is very found of Dana, and is also developing an attraction for Kasaii.
The
Deceased
The
Oracle
Technomagical relic of a destroyed civilization
Vital
Stats: Age 2000+, Height 5'11", No hair, eyes, average build.
Constructed entirely out of metal. Deceased.
Background: Unknown.
The Oracle is at least as old as Karlhanan, and is probably much older. It has
the ability to use its own mana, and that of people who ask it questions, to learn
the answers to those questions. It also seems to have been part of an Incarna-related
plot which Shari is a part of. Finally, it was being powered by the Spirit Orb.
The Oracle is now offline, although it may not be dead forever.
Personality:
Quirky. The Oracle often referenced objects and situations that no longer
exist. And it was getting tired.
Garanor
Lydal
Former Fury of Deception
Vital Stats: Age
unknown (looks late-twenties), Height 5'10", Brown hair, red eyes, average
build. Wears a gray coat with blue trim, and blue boots, the uniform of the Fury
of Deception.
Background: Unknown, except that he is apparantly the
son of the Emperor. Garanor was the second-oldest Fury, having been Fury of Deception
for nine years. He was affectionate towards Dana - he may even love her. He masked
himself as Lucas Patrickson in an attempt to get Dana to rejoin the Furies, which
failed miserably. After that, he helped Dana fight Perinas, Salamon, and Jeremar,
a battle which cost him his life.
Personality: Whatever it takes to
get the job done. Garanor wais capable to changing his personality as needed,
deceiving even himself. Because of this, it's extremely difficult to tell whose
side he was really on. Garanor was also suffering from the Fury's curse - the
personalties that he pretended to be were starting to take on lives of their own.
Garanor also possessed the ability to create illusions, which were extremely realistic.
Salamon
Keel
Former Fury of Greed
Vital Stats: Age
unknown (looks mid-sixties), Height 5'9", Grey hair, red eyes, slightly portly
build. Wears blue, gray and black robes, the uniform of the Fury of Greed.
Background: Unknown. Salamon is the third-oldest Fury, having ruled Greed
for over seven years. Salamon joined Perinas in sending both Asural and Verinth
on their mission against Dana and her friends, but he seems to have an ulterior
motive - he lined up a replacement for Asural before the battle even began, who
he used to replace Verinth instead. In truth, Salamon is playing every side against
each other, pretending to serve both the Emperor and the Incarna. His ultimate
goal seems to be to become one of the Incarna himself. Unfortunately for
him, it failed, and he was killed by the Emperor for his treason.
Personality:
Salamon is a nasty fellow. Aside from being pretty bossy, and rather depreciating
of his companions' abilities, he has no sense of loyalty to his fellow Furies,
nor to the Incarna that he professes to worship. No one can truly trust him. As
the Fury of Greed, Salamon has mastered a wide variety of magics, and frequently
uses his scrying and projecting to keep an eye on his many plots.
Perinas
Gaebor
Former Fury of Fear
Vital Stats: Age
unknown (looks mid-fourties), Height 6'1", Black hair, red eyes, average
build. Wears gray leathers with dark blue trim, and a dark blue mask, the uniform
of the Fury of Fear.
Background: Unknown. Perinas is the oldest of
the Furies, having been Fury of Fear for over ten years. He was mainly responsible
for Asural's attempt on Dana's life, as part of a long-term plan to overthrow
the Furies and recreate them in his own image. After failing to kill Dana in Cianna,
he was slain by Garanor. However, in the process, he killed Garanor, leaving two
fewer Furies in the fight.
Personality: Perinas was once a devoted
Fury, but is fully in the throes of the Fury's Curse, and has become a Darwinian
sociopath, dedicated to killing anyone who seems weak to him (which is pretty
much everyone). He's also sneaky, and has no sense of decency. Perinas can become
invisible and silent at will, and is a master assasin.
Verinth
Karsalas
Former Fury of Envy
Vital
Stats: Age twenty-five at death, Height 5'10", Green hair, red eyes,
average build. Wears blue, black and grey armour, the uniform of the Fury of Envy.
Deceased.
Background: Born Warren Hejan, Verinth grew up as the son
of Heyal Hejan, the then-Paladin of Flame. Warren attempted to infiltrate the
Furies, not knowing that he would lose his memories. As Verinth, he was a short-lived
Fury, who made the mistake of not checking to make sure that he had actually killed
Lucas before turning his back on him. Thus ended his life. However, see the entry
on Warren.
Personality: Verinth wasn't around for long, but he seemed
like a little whiner, complaining about everything, and not a very nice one, given
that he didn't even hestitate to plunge a knife into an unconsious man. As Warren,
he was a very different person, apparantly quite similar to Friv in temperment.
